Details

The design required an Instagram feed with a main focus on character line-up and creators while being easy to update from Shopify Customizer. The company did not yet have products, had limited graphics, and limited copy.

The Finished Product

Creator spotlight, easily editable

A custom section to feature the creators of Bird's Eye Comics. All of the content is easily editable by admin. This was before the Shopify update that added metaobjects, and required a workaround.

Did you know that GIFs do not support transparency? I made this GIF-like section with images that have transparent backgrounds. The flicker effect is executed with Javascript. You can set the number of pictures and time intervals between changes.

I wanted to avoid the usual hamburger menu on the mobile version since this website doesn't have a detailed menu structure or very many pages.
